Grow your own greens is so easy, it’s child’s play!
Workshop 1: Reduce
Only 5% of Australian kids are eating enough greens*, well, lets stop buying them and let the kids to grow their own!
1. LEARN:
Let’s reduce the burden on parents to buy greens in all it’s packaging. Let the kids grow their own! There are so many ways to grow our daily greens. This workshop aims to investigate the different methods and give us the tools to increase our intake of quick growing greens!
2. PLAY:
We follow our hands-on learning with both fast and slow games while still learning about plants and animals in our world. In these games everyone can be a winner if we work together, demonstrating high morals and ethics achieve the best outcomes.
3. MAKE:
Create and take home your very own hydroponic planter for the kitchen windowsill.

The only difficulty kids have with growing worms is remembering their names.
Workshop 2: Reuse
30% of our red bin waste is worm food*, let the kids feed their pets AND fertilize the garden instead of sending it to landfill.
1. LEARN:
Let’s recycle all our daily food scraps at the back door! This is a really fun way of recycling fresh food quickly and the easy way with 1000+ helpers.
2. PLAY:
We use basic animal behaviour to inspire kids to understand and respect the perspective of others. These activities provide a fun and constructive way for kids to undertake meaningful play which builds a caring, fair and inclusive community.
3. MAKE:
An insect hotel to encourage more beneficial insects to join us to manage our world. These insects are not only beautiful but quick to move in!

Workshop 3: Recycle
70% of our rubbish going to landfill is actually recyclable*. It’s time for our kids to change these statistics.
1. . LEARN:
This workshop aims to provide the tools and the motivation for our kids to take ownership of the rubbish in their own school and homes.
2. PLAY:
We follow our hands-on learning with both fast and slow games while still learning about how to support eachother and our world.
3. MAKE:
Create a miniature garden with clay for your bedroom windowsill (which can be recycled in the garden if things go astray)
